  • Rami Nsour

    Rami Nsour is a scholar, speaker, teacher, and translator of Islamic texts. He spent over 10 years studying Islam—including five years in Mauritania—earning an ‘ijāza to teach. He also completed an in-residence program researching fatāwā on Islamic faith, law, and practice.

  • Khadija Harmer

    Khadija Harmer is the Program Manager at Tayba Foundation, bringing over 15 years of experience in management in the nonprofit field. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and recently celebrated a decade at Tayba, where she has played a key role in guiding the organization through significant growth. Committed to streamlining processes for efficiency and impact, Khadija ensures that Tayba’s unique curriculum leads to meaningful student outcomes.

  • Zahra Billoo

    Zahra Billoo is a civil rights attorney and the Executive Director of CAIR-SFBA. With over 20 years of advocacy, she defends American Muslims’ civil liberties and champions social justice. Zahra frequently speaks on civil rights and community building, and she holds a Juris Doctor from UC Hastings and dual bachelor’s degrees from CSU Long Beach.

  • Safeer Mohiuddin

    Safeer Mohiuddin is a tech and real estate entrepreneur. He’s the co-founder of Guardrails AI, Cordoba Funds and Neeyah. Safeer is also the author of muslim.finance and serves on several non-profit endowment boards.

  • Yaseen Ulla

    Yaseen Ulla from Fort Worth has 20+ years in finance and accounting with Fortune 500s and startups, leading teams through growth stages. A Magna Cum Laude TCU graduate and licensed CPA, he enjoys travel, reading, coaching, and muscle cars, and lives in California with his wife and two children.

  • Motasem Benothman

    Motasem Benothman is the founder for Portola Springs Capital, a crypto investment fund.  He holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson.  In addition to being a part of the Tayba board, Motasem is also the chair of New Horizon Irvine Educational Foundation and a co-founder of Islamic Endowment Foundation.
